The brief

What this program is, in plain language.

A small cohort of newly minted CTOs work alongside operator mentors to translate product ambition into a concrete twelve-month engineering plan. You leave with a written architecture brief, a hiring sequence, and a backlog rhythm tested against your real constraints — not generic frameworks borrowed from public blog posts.

What is included

  • Weekly two-hour live working session with the cohort
  • A written architecture brief reviewed by two seasoned operators
  • Hiring sequence template tuned to your cap table and runway
  • One-on-one strategy call with the program director in week three
  • Private feedback channel that closes thirty days after the cohort ends
  • A printable engineering operating doc you can pin to Notion

Outcomes you can defend

  1. A defensible twelve-month plan signed off by two operators
  2. A written hiring sequence tied to your funding milestones
  3. A weekly review cadence your team can actually run on Mondays

Frequently asked, honestly answered

Will this work if my team is only three engineers right now?

Yes. The exercises scale down cleanly to three-person teams; the hiring sequence becomes the primary artifact.

How much pre-work is required each week?

Plan for two to three hours of writing between sessions. The cohort is built around drafts, so cutting that work undercuts the experience.

What this program does not cover

We do not teach individual coding craft, deep cloud architecture, or fundraising negotiation tactics. Those are out of scope.

From the cohort floor

The architecture brief from week four is now the doc I send to external reviewers before any technical due diligence call. The mentor pushback in session three is what made the doc honest. Hyejin Cho  ·  CTO  ·  Northform Group
Solid material, though the hiring sequence module felt rushed for a non-Seoul founder. The live review sessions made up for it. Daniel
